Student Loan Default Rates

BrightPlanet collected data from the Department of Education to understand which states and institutions were experiencing the worst burden of student loans and uncovered the different default rates by each state and institution.

Record Changes Over Time

Augustana University, the alma mater of a few data acquisition engineers, won the Division II men’s basketball national championship in 2016. Creating a data visualization to track the men’s basketball team’s success through the weeks seemed to be the best way to celebrate.
